Our goal is to meet every child’s needs: emotionally, socially and physically. We foster the social-emotional, physical, creative and cognitive growth though a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum. Our learning approach allows the children to engage with teachers and peers while providing a balance with teacher facilitated and child led learning opportunities. The Norwood PreSchool staff is devoted to fostering developmentally appropriate activities in which each child will be given the opportunity to practice skills and obtain new knowledge. Every day is a new opportunity for growth and development. Children are encouraged to explore and be engaged in one of our seven spacious classrooms, enriched with literacy, manipulatives, discovery, dramatic play, and art. Our outdoor playgrounds are an extension of the classroom. We have an herb garden, mud kitchen, construction zone, and climbing structure. Our playgrounds provide plenty of active physical play.
